March Guest Artist - Jeka Lambert

Jeka Lambert is our guest artist for the March 13th meeting.

A former corporate trainer, Jeka has been teaching jewelry making, art journaling, book arts, and creativity classes since 1998. She teaches an ongoing Handmade Artist Books class thru the Walnut Creek Center for Community Arts.

Three of her miniature artist books were part of the national traveling “Tiny Book” exhibit in 2016 and were featured prominently in the promotional material for the exhibit.

In this hands on workshop, Jeka will lead you thru printing Artist Trading Cards with styrofoam blocks you make yourself, then you will create a simple fan “book” to display your ATCs. PLEASE BRING SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEDIUMS, SUCH AS COLORED PENCILS, WATERCOLORS, METALLIC MARKERS, ACRYLIC PAINTS, etc. (BRING BRUSHES IF NEEDED). All other supplies are furnished.

Join us at the Concord Library for some artsy fun on Tuesday, March 13th, 1:30-3:30pm. Refreshments provided.
