Art above the books at Ygnacio Valley Library
FAQs: CAA Rotating Gallery
- What is a Rotating Gallery?
This membership benefit is a program offered by CAA whereby member artists can display their artwork on a quarterly basis at different venues in Concord and surrounding cities.
What kind of venues are in the program?
The Rotating Gallery currently covers a range of places from Bambino's Restaurant to Ygnacio Valley Library. There are office spaces and public spaces. See attachment for the current list.
How do I join?
Send an email to email@example.com to inquire about joining. Please note the program is open only to current CAA members. One of the committee chairs, either Kim Lawson or Renaye Johnson, will contact you with details.
Is there a fee?
There is no fee to join or hang your work, but when you sell a piece of your artwork from a venue CAA requests a donation of 10% of the sales price.
Anything else I need to know?
Once you have been assigned a venue for a quarter, you are responsible for following the guidelines for that space. You must hang your artwork within the specified timeframe. Members who fail to follow the guidelines or who do not hang their art will be dropped from the program. No exceptions!
