We hope this finds you and yours well, and that you have been able to spend a little time in your “happy place” among your art supplies. We miss being together outdoors!
But as we continue to stay safe and follow guidelines during this pandemic, we thought it would be fun to take virtual outings each month with a slide show from some of our favorite painting spots. All artists are encouraged to join us and create your spin on the beauty of the location.

Currently Ruth Bancroft Gardens is hosting their annual art show, Sculpture in the Garden. This is an annual event that marries sculptural art with the sculptural beauty of the garden. The show runs now through September 1st. Please check their website for regulations on visiting before you go. They are also adhering to the county guidelines to keep us safe as we enjoy the beauty of the gardens.
As you look through and decide which images are begging you to paint them, we would like to encourage you to email your completed masterpieces to us so we can celebrate and share your work on the blog and social media.
