Castle Rock Park sits in a scenic canyon along Pine Creek near the Diablo Foothills. The area is dominated by oak woodlands and prominent sandstone formations. Our day was filled with nature in all forms, including fog, high winds, cold, dirt, sand, ground squirrels and beautiful vistas. Plein air doesn't get any better than that!
