Remember! February Member
Meeting is at the Pleasant Hill Library at 1:30!
Your Board of Directors are
in the process of updating the style and content of our newsletter, blog, and
social media. At the same time, we are realigning responsibilities of our board
members to even out the workload. The Board needs help from a member with
writing and editing skills. Please contact us at
concordartassociation@yahoo.com if you can volunteer three or four hours per
month to edit the newsletter.
Our Program Chair, Patti St.
Denis, has organized a presentation by artist and Strathmore representative, Tom
Colcord. Tom will present The Essentials of Paper, a topic which
covers both drawing and watercolor paper. Members will participate in hand-on
exercises, using a selection of papers and drawing materials. The goal is to
help members select the right paper for future projects. Attendees will receive
samples of papers and literature about Strathmore papers as well as drawing
materials.
Tom is an accomplished artist
and teacher. Visit his website: http://tcolcord.wix.com/tomcolcord
Please renew your membership

artwork for your CAA 2020 Member badge. If
you took your 2019 badge home, please bring it to the meeting so we can reuse
the badge holder!
