Colored pencils and pastels with Peggy Magovern

Peggy Magovern was the guest artist at our February meeting - she combines realism and a touch of fantasy in her amazing portraits, created with colored pencils and pastels.

Peggy showed us how she blends unusual pencil color combinations to create the perfect shading and balance in the structure of a face.

We also got a sneak peek at some incredible new work she will be showing during her keynote speech at the International Women's Day Celebration in Antioch on March 8th, sponsored by the Interfaith Peace Project.
